Panic

I’m sitting here wishing,

Waiting for a trip beyond this.

Nothing can keep me from this moment

Not even the death that grips my mind.

The grace of all missery, dressed in a gown of

black.

The fury of her hatred, a burning polaris

igniting a trepid reaction to a meaningless vision

The heart beating faster than the speed of

light

time around me drowns and moans

Gasping for air I’m sinking slowly waiting

Sinking, deep, dangerous, dark, distraught

Time has gone, light has gone

beats beat faster

sense is senselessness without emotion

Distorted smashed into shards

Filled with fear it’s closing me down

No returning from this eruption

I’m a canibal

Eating my own soul

Right but wrong…

Staring into the eyes of wisdom
I see a frail man staring back at me.

He does not speak
But weeps aloud
His tears fall down his face
Like raindrops from the sky.

Sniggering sounds surrounding souls
Tempting our Naive persona.
Childlike temptations Thrown upon us
Leaving no option but to do wrong.

The devil inside is insightful
When it suits him
When his subject is susceptible
When willing to commit A crime.

Cats screeching, mice running –
Dogs barking.
The wise man staring back
At me is still weeping –

Wrong has still not met right.
